JOB SUMMARY

The Environmental Services Technician will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and providing a clean and safe environment within our healthcare spaces. preventing the spread of any diseases by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing areas, properly disposing of hazardous waste, and efficiently sterilizing equipment and furniture. Responsibilities will also include supporting the operations by providing support with patient nutrition service that will include heating food, restocking nutrition supplies and logging temperatures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Performing a range of cleaning tasks like mopping and sweeping
Replenishing all janitorial supplies, including soap and sanitizers
Empty all trashes in patient and staff areas, following specific behavioral health protocols for supplies and materials
Refilling toilet paper and other paper products as needed
Clean and sanitize recliners after patient discharges, as well as chairs/tables
Mop and sweep floors to ensure all spaces are safe to walk
Dust window sills and wipe down windows
Disinfecting and sanitizing all lobby furniture
Disinfect walls, door knobs/handles and other high-traffic areas as needed
Maintain cleanliness in all assigned areas and assist in any additional janitorial duties as required.
Cleans and removes outdated and expired items from staff breakrooms
Clean, dry and put away all breakroom dishes, utensils, etc.
Complete daily exterior walk of building and removes all trash, cigarette butts, etc. to maximize the appearance of the building
Available via walkie-talkie for all staff to contact in the event of an emergency spill/cleanup
Maintain professional attitude and ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, contractors, and co-workers.
Major emphasis on cleanliness and sanitization in a behavioral health setting
Follow OSHA requirements, while maintaining a clean, sanitary and safe environment in all areas of the facility
Follow all company procedures to maintain work environment in a neat and orderly condition while maintaining the facility within all regulatory entities, including but not limited to OSHA, ADHS, and CARF.

Nutrition Services

Organize, restock/replenish all patient snacks
Cleans and removes outdated and expired items from Patient Nutrition room and rotates refrigerated items
Sanitizes all countertops, sinks, and equipment
Dispose of any expired/spoiled fruit or perishable food items
Take inventory of weekly items needing to be ordered by facilities coordinator
Combine daily meals and prepare for clinical staff to serve while following the menu and nutritional guideline provided from nutrition vendor
Heat and prepare prepackaged meals for patients
Monitor and track temperature logs on refrigerators and freezers
Other duties may be assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications:
Valid Arizona Driver’s License in good standing.
Must have a level one fingerprint clearance card or the ability to obtain
Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations related to the health, safety, and sanitation of the healthcare facility
Ability to stand, sit, walk, push and pull for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively between all sites and disciplines
Ability to obtain training certificate in Blood Borne Pathogens

Education or Experience:

A Parks Maintenance Worker II works independently while performing a variety of semiskilled to skilled tasks in two or more trades or skill areas, such as carpentry, welding, electrical, masonry, painting, or plumbing for the maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of facilities, fixtures, and equipment at City parks, basins, golf courses, athletic/sports fields, and other recreational areas, including, but not limited to: chain link fence repair and installation; and repair of parks, playgrounds, golf courses, stadium structures, facilities, and related equipment. Athletic/Sports Field Maintenance Assignment: Employees assigned to athletic/sports field maintenance perform construction, maintenance, repair, field game preparation, and related service activities for the athletic fields including a variety of tasks in general trades and/or skilled maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of facilities, fixtures, and irrigation systems. Duties include: possibly inspecting play facilities and other equipment; independently scheduling or completing related repairs; planning and organizing work activities; performing advanced irrigation system repairs; programming computerized irrigation system watering schedules; coordinating with SRP and applying fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides. During the flood irrigation season (April – October) responsibilities may include the facilitation of flood irrigation for various parks and sports facilities throughout Mesa. This includes setting work hours at varied day and evening times based on the irrigation schedule provided by SRP, performing work with limited assistance and/or supervision, opening and closing flood gates and valves based on field capacity, regulates and measures flows in the City’s distribution system and delivery gates, inspecting flood irrigation systems for breaks/malfunctions, and performing related repairs.

Riverview/Pro-Sports Maintenance Assignment: Employees assigned to Riverview/Pro-Sports maintenance assignment perform construction, maintenance, repair, and skilled labor in maintaining and repairing the City’s athletic/sports fields and Riverview Park including a variety of tasks in general trades and/or skilled maintenance, repair, alteration, and construction of facilities, fixtures, playground equipment, and irrigation systems. Duties include: performing landscape maintenance at the stadium common areas and park; conducting safety inspections; independently scheduling or completing related repairs; performing athletic field game preps; advanced repair and programing of computerized irrigation systems; planning and organizing work activities; and applying fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides.

This classification is distinguished from the next lower level, Parks Maintenance Worker I, by the advanced skill level and independence exercised by the Parks Maintenance Worker II. The Parks Maintenance Worker II class is distinguished from the next higher level, Trades Worker, by the latter's performance of the full-range of tasks of a trade at the journey-level and, with the exception of the combined trades of electricity and plumbing, performs nearly all of the work in one trade. Supervision is received from a Parks Maintenance Leader or Parks and Community Facilities Maintenance Foreman (depending on assignment) who reviews work through observation, conferences, reports, and spot checking of results achieved. Employees are required to use appropriate safety equipment and procedures in performing assignments. A Parks Maintenance Worker II may be subject to yearly rotational stand-by duty and 24-hour call-out; working evenings, early mornings, and weekend shifts. This class is FLSA nonexempt.

General Description

AGeneral Service Technician (GST)in an entry-level position . SiteOps Global Systems Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Identify and root cause systemic issues in the fleet and drive resolution. Help deliver maximum server fleet up-time and utilization rates, by leveraging data to understand hardware failure conditions and root cause.

2. Write and review code, develop documentation, and debug the hardest problems, live, on some of the largest and most complex systems in the world.

3. Own and develop diagnostic tooling requirements to run the fleet

4. Own and Drive the escalation process for Site Operations to identify, root cause, and solve complex tooling and hardware issues affecting the fleet.

5. Execute operational validation and verification activities for the new product integration.

6. Through consistent collaboration with cross-functional tooling teams, help determine root cause and provide input into their development process, with an operations centric view of how open issues are affecting the fleet.

7. Build cross functional relationships and have the ability to influence policies and procedures to improve global data center operations.

8. Mentor team members to evaluate and identify better ways to resolve issues and define updates to tools and processes.

9. Ability to travel up to 25% required.

10. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

11. 7+ years of experience in systems infrastructure operations or related field

12. Proficiency in Linux Systems configuration, deployment and administration.

13. Experience coding in higher-level languages (e.g., Python, PHP, C++, or Java)

14. Experience in configuration and maintenance of applications such as web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems and messaging systems

15. Experience learning software, frameworks and APIs

$124,000/year to $191,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
