    **A Day in the Life**

    In this exciting role as a **Process Engineering Technician** **,** you will use your knowledge of Wafer manufacturing to troubleshoot wafer and plate processing issues following structured problem-solving methods. You will complete complex tasks requiring judgment in determining work methods, interpreting test results and writing clear and accurate test result reports. You may also have responsibility for minor projects and assist on assignments that are moderately complex in nature.

    _This position will work a four, 10-hour schedule following training. Training will take place Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm._

    **A Day in the Life**

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

    + Provide technical and sustaining support in a wafer manufacturing area.

    + Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.

    + Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.

    + Work from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.

    + Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.

    + Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.

    **Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Minimum of 4 years relevant experience

    **Nice to Have:**

    + Two-year degree (certificate) in Electronic Technology or equivalent (vocational or technical college)

    + Experience with semiconductor wafer processes & equipment

    + Experience with laser cutting, inspection, or metrology processes.

    + Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Minitab/JMP

    + Experience with Lean Sigma, or Green/Black Belt Lean Sigma certification

    + Experience and understanding of SPC principles including process capability analysis and control charts

    + Design roadway, pedestrian, water/wastewater infrastructure, civil site, and related projects.

    + Update designs based on manager and client feedback.

    + Assist in preparing plans, specifications, estimates, and reports.

    + Coordinate with utility companies during the design process.

    + Conduct site/field inspections of project locations.

    + Perform technical research and investigation.

    + Ensure the accuracy of completed tasks using established guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years of experience in civil engineering.

    + Registered Professional Engineer in Arizona, or ability to become registered within one year.

    + Working knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D design package and Microsoft Office applications (strong Excel skills are a plus).

    + Ability to interact and effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with team members and external clients.

    + Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections, etc.

    + Detail-oriented, professional attitude, team player, and self-starter.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Microstation, traffic studies, roadway, and highway engineering.

    + Experience in drafting and civil design.
