    JOB SUMMARY

    This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting the company's products and services and for building relationships with new and existing accounts. The main focus is to help Sysco customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals established by the company.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives within assigned territory.

    Responsible for greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting a series of registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.

    **Job Description**

    1 In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assists qualified donors in completing the screening process. The screening procedures includes but are not limited to: assessing the self-administered health history, answering basic medical questions associated with the donation process, referring donors to medical staff when appropriate and performing health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, temperature. Performs finger stick to obtain sample to obtain donor’s hematocrit and total protein levels.

    2 Upon completion of the appropriate training, may educate new donors on the use of therapeutic products made from donated plasma. This includes explaining the screening process, the health screening tests performed, the appointment system, donation fees, center policies, proper nutrition and any other information pertinent to the donor. Ensures that all donor questions are answered timely, accurately and professionally.

    3 May be involved in registering applicant and transfer donors based upon completion of appropriate training and operational needs of the center.

    4 May answer the telephone and answer callers question or transfer call to appropriate staff member.

    5 Maintains alertness and awareness to any reaction by a donor may have during or after the pheresis process and notifies appropriate staff.

    The Bilingual Spanish speaking Medical Support Specialist helps to support our donors, including our Spanish speaking donors, by providing all Medical Support Specialist job duties to our donor populations.,.     The Bilingual Spanish speaking Medical Support Specialist helps to support our donors, including our Spanish speaking donors, by providing all Medical Support Specialist job duties to our donor populations.,. The Bilingual Spanish speaking Medical Support Specialist determines donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist works under the direct supervision of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the supervision of the Center Physician for medical issues. Ideally, the Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry and/or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).

    **_ACCOUNTABILITIES_**

    **Donor Eligibility (85%)**

    + Helps to support the overall success of BioLife’s end to end donation process and helps to champion BioLife’s en Espanol initiative

    + Helps to communicate and provide support to all donors, including Spanish speaking donors to ensure a seamless and exemplary donation experience

    + Communicates to all donors, including Spanish speaking donors, written and verbally, including support in communicating important medical terminology in both Spanish and English, as needed

    + Determine donor eligibility accurately and in a timely manner, to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) as required.

    + Evaluate and manage donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the execution of Center Physician’s standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.

    + Manage donor deferral; reviews test results and notify donors of unsuitable test results per applicable SOPs.

    + Initiation and investigation of Post Donation Information (PDI).

    + Refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, problem solving, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.

    + Demonstrate continued competency in the performance of job responsibilities and complete periodic assessment with the Center Physician per applicable SOPs.

    + May be asked to help translate or facilitate communication with Spanish speaking donors and other BioLife team members.

    **Assist the EHS program as required per SOPs or as requested by the EHS Manager (5%)**

    + Conduct pre-placement evaluation of new hires to include assessment of medical history questionnaire.

    + Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.

    + Maintain applicable employee medical records.

    + Member of EHS site committee and assist in training of employees, as required.

    + Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.

    + Administer first aid to employees as needed.

    + Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS.

    + Supports investigations associated with pandemic threats within local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.

    + Take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.

    The Field Service Manager is a key role reporting to the Operations Manager. As the Field Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to oversee and support field service operations in an assigned territory consisting of approximately 20-40 apartment communities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful deployment and quality of field services, including the careful selection of qualified independent contractors to join our network. Together, you will establish strong partnerships within a defined portfolio of our client's property managers, maintenance managers, and other staff members.     Responsibilities:

    + Responsible for managing projects for requested services of approximately 20-40 apartment communities as needed and assigned

    + Responsible for identifying, selecting, and onboarding qualified independent contractors to build a bench in advance of capacity

    + Update, distribute, and ensure the daily schedule needs are being managed and completed in a timely and satisfactory manner

    + Coordinate with apartment community staff and independent contractors to meet client expectations

    + Walk jobsites to ensure service compliance to customer requirements, leveraging Field Service team members where possible

    + Ensure proper safety protocols and procedures are being met

    + Ensure client satisfaction through promptly and effectively addressing questions or concerns

    + Takes initiative and applies critical thinking skills to forecast/solve problems and drive results when anticipating independent contractor shortages, or when the independent contractors are not meeting the Client’s standard of work

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED equivalent required, AA degree or higher preferred

    + Minimum of 5 years of proven success in a field services management role

    + Multi-location management of construction and/or field services with a dispersed workforce highly preferred

    + Customer service, and prior people management experience preferred

    + Proposal building and sales experience preferred

    + Bilingual (English / Spanish) required

    + Excellent project management skills, including the planning, coordination, and delivery of service work
