We Are Seeking

Team Gilbert is seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Police Dispatch Team to receive, dispatch and monitor incoming public emergency and non-emergency calls and messages to and from police officers and other Town staff members in a 24/7 communications center.

The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Receives and routes incoming emergency 911 and non-emergency calls from the public and other police/fire/governmental agencies.

+ Remembers details and procedures and can apply the same procedures in an emergency situation.

+ Solicits information to determine the nature of requests, the severity and location of incidents, including crimes, potential threats, risks, or hazards that responding police units may encounter and to determine the best way to provide services.

+ Maintains proper radio communications in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.

+ Operates a multi-screen police dispatch console and multi-line telephone equipment to process calls.

+ Researches information from several databases regarding criminal history, stolen property, vehicle registration and other information.

+ Enters and clears warrants, stolen vehicles and other property information and missing persons information into local, state and national databases. Confirms the validity of previously-entered information, upon request.

Minimum Requirements for this role include:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ 1 year of experience in a customer service environment.

+ Requires ability to accurately type 54 keystrokes per minute (KPM).

+ Possess and maintain a Level A Terminal Operator's Certification (TOC) within 6 months of hire date.

+ Dispatcher positions work rotating shifts that include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as needed.

This position starts at $29.83 per hour. Wage for Lateral Dispatch candidates will be dependent on years of comparable experience.

**I. Job Summary**

Communicates back and forth with Waste Management Drivers to assist with problem resolution while on route for residential, commercial and roll-off lines of business. Handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and resolves service issues. Interacts with customers that includes Waste Management customer service, sales, and operational staff (i.e. Route Managers, Mechanics etc.). Uses Waste Management proprietary software to manage same day ticket routing as well as preparing all routes for the next day. **II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

+ Dispatches drivers to calls as they are received, using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and customer satisfaction.

+ Works with sites and the service department to optimize routes based on needs of the customer.

+ Determines the daily level of driver staffing to provide best mix of responsiveness and productivity.

+ Assigns routes and service tickets to appropriate drivers throughout the day and for the next day; manages and determines route actions and assuring route completion.

+ Handles fields incoming calls and e-mails from customer service and sales department; manages requests for all pick-up or delivery on any container movement within the Market area.

+ Initiates communication to customers while drivers are on-site/location, resolving pick-up and other issues delaying the service.

+ Troubleshoots and resolves potential delivery and pick-up problems before they result in service issues.

+ Ensures same-day service on missed pick-ups by managing the routing for all routes and tracking driver movement in the field.

The DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT III) supports patient care by assisting with physical exams, point of care testing and data gathering servicing the **Phoenix** area. The DHMT III works at the direction of a virtual DispatchHealth Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) while being present with patients in their homes. Strong organizational and customer service skills are keys to success as a DHMT III. Extensive on-the-job training will be provided for this exciting opportunity to assist in the delivery of hospital-level healthcare in the comfort of a patient’s home.

**What You'll Do**

+ Drive DispatchHealth vehicle to meet patients at their place of need and load and unload supplies for daily activities

+ Communicate with a healthcare provider via messaging, video conference and mobile device

+ Obtain patient’s vital signs and assist in the collection of patient data

+ Facilitate a physical exam using a mobile device and conduct other diagnostic tests and treatments as requested by virtual provider, as permitted by state law. This may include, but is not limited to, blood draws, EKG, splints, basic wound care, and other patient care activities that are required for the successful completion of the visit.

+ Perform any indicated point-of-care lab testing as directed by virtual provider

+ Provide discharge instructions in conjunction with virtual provider

+ Responsible for equipment use, care and allocation

+ Restock and clean equipment at end of shift appropriately

**What You Need**

+ Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification (EMT-P) in the state in good standing

+ Minimum one (1) year patient facing experience

+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

+ Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds

+ Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs easily while carrying equipment

Work Environment

The role includes a mix of in-office days, with the front half of the week in the office on Monday and Tuesday, and the back half on Thursday and Friday.

+ Distribute intercompany mail to sales force.

+ Other duties as assigned by management.
