    **About the Role**

    HomeSafe Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dispatcher to assist our operations Department with dispatching vehicles and coordinating resources.

    **This is an SCA position** .

    **Responsibilities/Duties** :

    + Foster a team-oriented work environment and maintain positive relationships with crew members, customers, sales coordinators, and sales staff.

    + Review and coordinate daily operations requirements and assign crews and resources accordingly.

    + Ensure all crews are dispatched in a timely manner in compliance with the dispatch schedule.

    + Maintain contact with on-site supervisors as necessary to ensure an efficient and effective service experience for the client.

    + Manage policies, programs, and procedures for dispatch operations, including schedules, rates, routes, assignment of drivers and vehicles, and other operational activities.

    + Analyze proposed schedules and rates, initiate preparation, and distribution of proposed trip schedule changes, and submit analyses of data and rescheduling recommendations to the Operations Manager and/or administration.

    + Work within Safety & Compliance regulations and contractual agreements to ensure vendor driver fleet suppliers compliance with regulations, permit requirements, licensing, and driver qualifications.

    + Coordinate a variety of warehouse activities through state-of-the-art Transportation management systems and assigned operations teams.

    + Collaborate with the Operations Manager to monitor the proficiency of the crews and recommend process improvements and training solutions to enhance service to the client.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    **Qualification and Skill Requirements** :

    + High school diploma, or GED required.

    + Two years’ experience Dispatching or customer service in transportation industry, or related field. Experience in household goods or military move preferred

    + Ability to read, interpret documents and apply; safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    + Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.

    + Ability to communicate with drivers and helpers to ensure service is provided in an efficient and effective manner.

    + Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements

    **Work Hours and Scheduling:**

    This position requires a commitment to a flexible work schedule to meet the needs of our clients and business operations. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, we are looking for candidates who are open to flexible scheduling, which may include staggered shifts, nights, and weekends. Our goal is to ensure comprehensive coverage and support across different time zones and during peak operational periods.

    **About the Role**

    HomeSafe Alliance is seeking highly skilled and motivated Dispatch Manager to lead the domestic Dispatch team in all operational disciplines ensuring operational excellence to met all KPIs and CDRL requirements. This role will oversee all Service Provider activities, work closely with the SIT team, perform quality assurance reviews and work with interdepartmental staff to confirm that all booking and dispatch operations appropriately represent and consistently meet company standards.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    + Manage, coach, and build a team of Dispatch professionals.

    + Oversee the movement of Military Household Goods shipments across the lower 48 United States and U.S. Sea and Airports of Embarkation and Debarkation in accordance U.S. Government DTR, JTR, Military Service, DOT FMCSA, and HomeSafe Alliance policies and procedures.

    + Implement a continuous improvement process culture to increase efficiencies and improve performance: Ensure personnel are trained on standardized workflows, technically competent and customer focused.

    + Increase competency level of Dispatch personnel to ensure high quality, compliance, and outstanding customer service.

    + Establish, monitor, revise, document, and communicate all directives, rules, and procedures to staff, including, shipment, dispatch process, and any other related information.

    + Assure proper information flow with operations on changes and/or problems with external customers or suppliers, with specific focus on domestic transportation concerns.

    + Evaluate staff performance on a regular basis and annually through the employee review process. Monitor workloads, adjust proactively and develop team members.

    + Monitor timely responses to external/internal customers and other HomeSafe Alliance functions.

    + Investigate, plan, and implement transport methods that are strategically effective and relevant which meet the needs of the HomeSafe Alliance, Service Providers, USTRANSCOM, and the Service Member and DoD Civilian customers.

    + Provide outstanding customer service to our clients by implementing and managing the dispatch process on an organizational level as well as continuously optimizing the Service Provider experience.

    + Oversee, when necessary, rescheduling trips in the event of operator or vehicle shortages and in consideration of transit guide requirements.

    + Pilot all outbound flows from warehouse to customers and make sure the communication to the Customer Care is done proactively.

    + Achieve GHC HomeSafe KPIs and SDS performance metric requirements.

    + Daily/hourly monitor all system efficiencies and adjust when needed.

    + Update all workflows regarding the moves in HomeSafe Connect, from ingestion of task orders to dispatch, plan pickup, actual pick up, planned RDD, and actual RDD.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

    + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics preferred.

    + 5+ years dispatch, transportation, logistics, fleet, or distribution experience, within military move highly preferred.

    + 3 years domestic freight experience.

    + 2 years in a leadership/management role.

    + Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractual requirements

    + Data-driven thinker and very comfortable with modern Transportation Management System, TMS, experience is a plus.

    + Thorough knowledge and understanding of domestic freight markets and operations.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience.

    + Experiences in team management, customer service, and transportation logistics.

    + System experience and MS Office proficiency.

    + Excellent written & verbal communication skills, patience, and empathy.

    + Prior military move management experience highly preferred.
