EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Heavy Equipment Field Technician (Mechanic) for our rental facility in Phoenix, AZ to be responsible for providing maintenance and repair for a variety of customer and company owned heavy equipment machinery and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Pay: $25 - $38 per hour (Depends on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances)

Primary Responsibilities

As a field technician, you’ll use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues faster by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. With real-time information at your fingertips, you can determine the root cause and corrective action for each issue quickly, enabling you to work smarter, not harder.

+ Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment

+ Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably

+ Maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools while using a high degree of independent judgment

+ Assist in the training of lower level technicians as needed

+ Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

+ Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

+ Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

+ Field Mechanic: When required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer owned equipment; must maintain service vehicle in a clean and professional manner

Skills & Qualifications Required Skills/Abilities:

+ Must own tools applicable to position

+ Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

Education and Experience:

Description:

Handling CAT5 and CAT6 low voltage cable, installing cable on mounted trusses/j-hooks/strut material to connect to servers within a data center. Working inside the plant, may need to work on elevated work surfaces - ladders, scissor lifts, overhead fall protection. Working on your feet for up to 10-12 hours within a working day based on project demands.

Summary:

The Communications Technician I must learn and possess the skills required to function as a contributing member of a technical team. Typically, the Technician II possesses 1-3 years of experience in the structured cabling industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Install a work area outlet for floor (i.e. monument), modular furniture (i.e. surface mount box) and wall (i.e. box eliminator). Drop cable down a wall using fish tape or other method. Route cable through modular furniture. Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables and determine length, slack and label cables. Suspend and support cable correctly: Cable tray, J-hook, D-rings, Bridal rings, Trapeze.

+ Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware). Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required.

+ Performs fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.

+ Terminate low-voltage devices.

+ Fully complete all company paperwork accurately and on time (timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).

+ Adhere to and participate in all company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.

+ Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

**Compensation:**

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$25.00-$34.50.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. The Multi Services Technician ensures the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the assigned building project by ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all required work and by attaining the utmost in customer satisfaction.

**Compensation:**

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$29.00-$39.50.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. **Description**

Collaborate with assigned team responsible to maintain and enhance the overall performance and availability of global radio and site data center power infrastructure solutions to include 2-way voice radio, facilities, GPS, outdoor radio and (I)IoT / telemetry systems. Monitor, maintain and enhance network infrastructure solutions to include data, video, voice, and wireless. Analyze technologies and recommend upgrades/changes based on assessments of the organization's current and future network technology needs.

+ Design solutions and create implementation and support models for technology encompassing a specific specialization or platform, particularly the 2-way voice radio, site data center power and wireless data systems.

+ Create both short and long-term enterprise 2-way voice and wireless network technology roadmaps based on an understanding of the organizational strategic requirements, technology context and business needs.

+ Define and review reports to ensure all services are completely and successfully delivered. Proactively intervene to correct problems when they are encountered. Use metrics to improve processes.

+ Work effectively with other IS teams and outsourcing provider(s) to ensure technology solutions are effectively managed and performed. Lead, develop and coach site radio support staff and junior engineers.

+ Ensure a thorough analysis of service results, and respond to any escalated service delivery issues

+ Examine organization’s current and future technology needs. Set direction and lead improvements of techniques, methodologies and deliverables.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field **and** eight (8) years of experience in the information services, which includes five (5) years of experience with data, video, voice or wireless network technologies; **OR**

+ High School Diploma and twelve (12) years of experience in the information services, which includes nine (9) years of experience with data, video, voice or wireless network technologies.

+ Strong understanding of Infrastructure design and support concepts.
