Job Responsibilities & Requirements

HVAC Service Tech for company that handles service work and site maintenance for national accounts.

• Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction

• Uses a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

• Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products at customer’s location.

• Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as need or requested by customers.

• Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.

• Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness

• Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and complete repairs and maintenance service

• Maintains equipment by inspecting for signs of wear. Notifies customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.

• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files

• Represents company by serving as a direct customer contact.

• Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need

• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job, including daily time, progress, and duration; and maintaining files.

• Records parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and returns unused resources.

• Turns in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.

+ Instruct customer personnel, i.e. Engineering, Maintenance, and Production on proper set up (Center-lining), adjustment, and operation of packaging equipment.

+ Diffuse difficult situations due to corrugated and or machinery performance.

+ Interact with customers on a multi-level basis from floor troubleshooting to upper management presentations.

+ Assist sales through the preparation of recommendations and proposals for new packaging systems at customer facilities.

+ Provide financial data and assistance in the preparation of Capital Appropriation Requests for equipment purchased by, and financed through International Paper Plants.

+ Evaluate packaging equipment and systems for compliance with OSHA and other safety requirements.

+ Provide technical support to sales, marketing, package designers, equipment suppliers, and customers in the development of proprietary IP designs and equipment to automate them.

+ Participate in Customer Value Analysis (CVA) Audits to evaluate and recommend MPS (Mechanical Packaging Services) related issues that could reduce customer’s packaging cost and improve margin for IP.

+ Keep informed of current developments in MPS technology through interaction with manufactures’ representatives and plant visits.

+ Utilize the MPS Project Log System to track value to customers and IP by accurate record keeping and visit reports.

+ Manage travel and operating expenses in a reasonable and prudent manner consistent with department budget guidelines and IP standard operating procedures.

**The Skills You Will Bring:**

+ BS degree and/or equivalent work/business experience is preferred

+ Minimum of 5 years of industry mechanical maintenance experience is required

+ Specific mechanical packaging experience up to and including building, re-building, and hands on solutions to issues is highly desired

+ Thorough knowledge of NAC’s products, services and manufacturing process and capabilities is desired

+ A strong understanding of the key quality attributes of corrugated and their effect on mechanical forming and ultimate shipping performance.

+ Experience working with a team as well as independently while managing multiple high priority assignments effectively

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

PURPOSE The Operator Heavy Equipment Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining large mobile

mining equipment (end-dump trucks, dozers, front-end loaders, graders and others) in a limestone quarry and

also performs a variety of maintenance and housekeeping tasks. All duties are performed in a safe manner.

Plant safety rules are followed and the individual works as a team member.

communicate and work together to insure the customer’s needs are met in a safety and constructive manner.

+ Required Education: High school diploma/GED. Required Experience: 2 years of prior heavy equipment mechanical experience. Required License: valid Commercial Driver’s License.

+ Additional Requirements:

+ ASE Certified in Heavy Equipment Maintenance preferred.

+ Willingness to work any shift and shift rotations.

**Summary**

The Quality Technician III is responsible for material evaluations and conducts various testing activities and analysis on sample material. Communicates results effectively and reports meaningful and unbiased conclusions based on evaluations. Conducts specific activities in accordance with established laboratory practices and procedures. Duties/Responsibilities:

+ Loads, Unloads, Starts, and Stops Machines.

+ Monitors the feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process.

+ Watches gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure machines are working properly and work-pieces meet quality standards.

+ Monitors machines during operation in order to detect dull cutting tools and excessive vibration.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Loads, Unloads, Starts, and Stops Machines.

· Monitors the feeds and speeds of machines during the machining process.

· Watches gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure machines are working properly

and workpieces meet quality standards.

· Monitors machines during operation in order to detect dull cutting tools and excessive

vibration.

· Measures dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications,

using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.

· Calculates and sets machine movements according to drawing specs.

· Adjusts machine feeds and speeds, changes cutting tools, and/or adjusts machine

controls when automatic programming is faulty or if the machine malfunctions.

· Sets up fixtures, tools, and programs for the operation of machines for first run and repeat

parts.

· Knowledge of machine tools, including their uses and maintenance.

· Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine to exact positions.

· Ability to control the operations of machining equipment and systems.

· Ability to determine the type of tools and equipment needed to perform a job.

· Ability to detect machine errors (i.e. noises, vibrations, etc.).

· Ability to determine causes of operating errors and to find a solution to the problem. Mathematics knowledge, particularly Trigonometry.

· Understanding of Metallurgy. Ability to write simple programs. Extensive knowledge of Probe routines and machine macros.

· Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Basic programming of probes to set work coordinates and dimension verification

Education and Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience in relevant field.

· 5S and Lean Manufacturing. Training.

· Advanced Blueprint Reading. Documentation and Modern’s Production System.

· Inspection Techniques for Machinists.

· SPC Charts and Tools. CNC Program Management. Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

· Machine applications, tooling and fixtures.

· Adjusting boring heads.

**The selected candidate will:**

+ Professionally install, maintain and repair customer compressed air equipment in assigned branch territory, including after-hours emergency when necessary

+ Systematically analyze mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and controls sub-systems to provide customers with root causes of problem and solutions to correct them

+ Support customers with recommendation on maintenance intervals and system improvements

Fann Contracting, Inc., Northern Arizona’s leading heavy-civil and heavy-highway contractor, is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Shop/Field Mechanic to join our team! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 year’s of hands-on experience working on both Cat and John Deere construction equipment. This is a full-time shop position in our Prescott, AZ headquarters.

Our family-owned 60-year company specializes in mass excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, private and public infrastructure, asphalt paving, aggregate crushing, asphalt hot plant production, and much more. **Job Title:** Chiller Technician - Commercial HVAC

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**

+ Maintain and repair of HVAC equipment ranging from 1 ton to 900-ton chillers, motors, pumps, valves, controls, cooling towers and other auxiliary equipment.

+ Perform daily and monthly PM’s on all associated equipment of chillers and cooling towers.

+ Monitor chemical feeds to chiller systems.

+ Assist with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of all equipment on site

+ Other duties may be assigned.

**Job Specifications** (incl. Education requirements, minimal experience, computer skills required, etc.)

+ Must have completed 4-year apprenticeship program or technical schooling.

+ Must have 5+ years of commercial air conditioning experience.

+ Must be available for emergency call outs.

+ Must be a team player and able to work with other trades and client’s staff.

+ Rule 1415 certified

+ EMS experience a plus (Staefa/Siemens)

+ Valid driver's license in good standing.

+ Must be willing to submit to a drug screen/background check.
