    **What You Will Do**

    + Perform duties related to assembly, maintenance, and repair of boilers, pressure vessels, tanks and vats by performing a variety of complex welding processes such as electric resistance, oxy acetylene or arc torches.

    + Perform routine maintenance activities.

    + Develop solutions for various maintenance situations.

    + Complete Work Orders and other maintenance documentation.

    + Train and mentor maintenance employees.

    **What You Bring To Freeport**

    + Two (2) years of experience in the crafts of Welder/Boilermaker or a combination of education and experience

    + Proficiency in welding/cutting.

    + Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required.     The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions.

    Principal Accountabilities:

    + Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, technical manuals, and other data as applicable.

    + Perform daily and turnaround inspections on all assigned aircraft.

    + Perform inspections, corrosion control, troubleshooting and fault isolation on aircraft systems.
