Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team as an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor for our F\-35 Program at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona\! This role provides the direct management of aircraft production and sets maintenance priorities\.

Other responsibilities include:

• Guides FMS Belgium, schedule requirement and production issues as they pertain to the F\-35 aircraft\.

• Supervises daily maintenance and flying operations\. Attend daily maintenance and flight operations meetings as required\.

• Reviews completed work orders and accomplishes Aircraft Safety of Flight Releases\.

• Ensure workforce follows appropriate technical instructions, Air Force Instruction 21\-101, and local operating instructions\. Advises management of status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed\.

• Must be able to perform short notice travel for business, Temporary Duty \(TDY\), and extended TDY to support Aeronautics Field Sustainment \(AFS\) program, mission or customer requirements\. A valid passport is desired\.

• Candidates must be capable of working first \(1st\), second \(2nd\) dependent on mission requirements or customer needs\.

• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a flight line driving competency card\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

• 6 years minimum fighter aircraft with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and flight line operations\.

• Overall fighter experience must include at least 2 years F\-35 aircraft maintenance experience\.

The USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician is a qualified and skilled aircraft electronics and Ground Support Station technician with experience in troubleshooting multiple electronics systems both aircraft and control stations. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Must maintain assigned UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments.

+ Must apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.

+ Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.

+ The CLS technician shall utilize excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet Daily Flight Schedule.

+ Required to make entries in aircraft logs and records, attend shift change maintenance meetings, perform as a QA, and is responsible for providing guidance and technical expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and/or maintenance efforts.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Principal Accountabilities:

+ Apply technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation, and applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals.

This position supports fulfilling inspection, documentation, and reporting requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS) as well as the ability to perform direct, hands-on maintenance requirements if and when required. The USMC MQ-9 CLS Mechanic is a qualified and skilled aircraft/composite mechanic with experience in structures, hydraulics, engines and avionics using diagrams, blueprints, and publications. The mechanic will directly support the USMC MQ-9 Site Manager while at the same time being available to support hands-on maintenance and leadership/training on an as needed basis.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Inspects and repair power plant malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, overhaul, repair, inspection, and aircraft servicing functions on assigned aircraft within an aircraft maintenance and operations environment and in accordance with applicable instructions.

Principal Accountabilities:

+ Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft in accordance with 14 CFR and Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, technical manuals, and other data as applicable.
