Save the Family is a non-profit in Mesa, Arizona that is dedicated to equipping families to address poverty, overcome homelessness, and achieve self-sufficiency. Organization Details: Established in 1988, Save the Family Foundation of Arizona is a leading provider of housing, case management and supportive services to more than 650 homeless and impoverished families and children each year, annually throughout Maricopa County. We work to equip families to overcome underlying issues that lead to homelessness – ensuring stable homes, safe children and strong families because of our efforts. Join us today to help build stability and self-sufficiency in the families we serve across the county –you can help by being a volunteer, donating to the organization or advocate on behalf of those we serve. We provide housing, case management and supportive services. Once housed, Case Managers help parents set and achieve goals geared toward ensuring the family’s long-term housing and financial stability, which often can include securing employment, moving up in the workplace, improving financial literacy, building life-skills, and mental health. The Case Manager helps the family through their entire journey to housing and self-sufficiency. Our supportive services compliment each family’s goals and include career services, budgeting classes, parenting classes, other life-skills classes, and access to in-house mental health support. We also provide multiple supportive services to the children in our programs – all focused on halting cycles of homelessness and poverty. Supportive services are also available to families residing in ARM (Affordable Rental Movement) of Save the Family’s affordable housing program. We appreciate your interest in Save the Family!

Our programs offer other supportive services that include life-skills, budgeting, parenting, and domestic violence/trauma healing classes and support groups, landlord-tenant relations, family planning, wellness, nutrition and food budgeting, and legal services.

Save The Family , has a three step hiring process. First there is a review of resumes for qualified candidates that fit the role they have applied to and all qualified resumes are sent to the hiring department for selection. Once the resume of interest have been selected by the hiring manager, the applicants will be requested to complete a phone pre-screen interview. Applicants that are selected from phone screen will be scheduled for an in -person interview at the main office with the management members of the department the role is under.
