Job description:
We are looking for an energetic network support specialist to work in our fast-paced operations center in Phoenix, Arizona. The ideal candidate will provide superior customer service in support of the company's network infrastructure and a passion for expanding his or her knowledge. The selected candidate must have a strong work ethic, the ability to hit deadlines, and the skills to communicate effectively.
Weekend and night shifts will be required for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance to customers
Work with engineers, software developers and customers to identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues and improve product and network issues
Provide installation assistance to both customers and field service technicians
Coordinate tasks and manage workflow of multiple vendors to solve customer needs
Document all tickets with accurate and current information
Monitor multiple networks and proactively identify potential issues
Keep current with software releases, known compatibility issues, equipment configurations, and network protocols
Assist engineers with development and testing
Other tasks assigned by the NOC Manager

Job Requirements:
Minimum 1-year networking experience. Electronic trade school and/or certifications can substitute for the required experience.
Understanding of payment and point-of-sale technology preferred
Basic knowledge of WAN/LAN and legacy protocols
Skilled at understanding and analyzing the designs provided by the network manager to be able to monitor the network
Good verbal and written communication skills along with basic understanding of technical terms
Excellent logical skills, mathematical skills and technical skills
Cisco CCNA certification a plus
