Lead Technology Product Manager – Commercial Drug Information

As part of the **Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Effectiveness team** , the Lead **Technology Product Manager** **– Commercial Drug Information** role for **Medi-Span** represents the voice of the customer and is responsible for researching, designing and introducing innovative embedded solutions into the healthcare market, benefiting our customers and partners and those who depend on them. This dual-facing role will be the bridge between market and engineering teams and will focus on data and solutions that support Payers, PBMs, Life Sciences and Medicare/Medicaid programs.

**Essential Duties and Key responsibilities:**

+ Product delivery and execution for new products, features and offerings following an agile data-driven SaaS product lifecycle model

+ Manage existing products for your product domain areas, provide data-driven decisions, prioritize new investments and tradeoffs and grow the product value

+ Define market personas, use cases, adoption targets, ROI metrics and product success criteria

+ Create business cases and interact with technical product owners to ensure your vision is translated into actionable and accurate requirements

+ Assist in creation and maintenance of marketing collateral, product training and documentation materials in support of the launch, implementation and support of your solutions

+ Conduct ongoing market and competitive landscape research and present findings to internal stakeholders

+ Work closely with customers, clinical and commercial subject matter experts, engineering and sales to define segment-specific (e.g. Payer, PBM, Life Sciences, etc.) product strategies

+ Curate relationships with customers and their customers and be able to represent the ‘voice of the customer’ for product and engineering activities

+ Participate in select industry conferences and customer events representing subject matter expertise areas and related products

+ Drive collaboration and coordination with cross functional stakeholders and business leaders to execute the broader product strategy

+ Manage the overall success of your product areas throughout the product lifecycle, facilitate feedback activities and drive continuous improvement activities

**Other Duties** :

+ Be the subject matter expert for US drug pricing benchmark data types including WAC, AWP, NADAC, ACA FUL, ensuring our solutions meet customer needs in existing and future commercial data workflows

+ Be the subject matter expert for US healthcare government and regulatory published drug information and policy data sources (CMS, FDA, etc.) covering drug control/compliance programs, covered programs (Medicare/Medicaid) and other government drug-related policy and program information

+ Have an in-depth understanding of drug classification systems, drug packaging attributes, drug clinical attributes and how they are used in drug decision support workflows

+ A highly-motivated, self-starter, team-player able to innovative and create solutions

+ Track project and program activities for your product areas r

+ Participate in product pricing/packaging activities with Product Marketing team members

+ Deliver product demonstrations to prospects/customers, evangelize product capabilities and industry thought-leadership

+ Perform other duties as assigned by manager

**Job Qualifications**

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or healthcare or equivalent field preferred

**Experience:**

+ Minimum 7 years’ experience in commercial drug data roles or related field

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in government/regulatory data roles or related field

+ Minimum 5 years’ experience working with healthcare embedded data and embedded data workflows

+ Minimum 3 years’ experience with hands-on SaaS product management or related experience

+ Experience with Jira, Confluence and lean development methodologies is a plus

+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective time/capacity management

+ Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills

+ Detail-oriented analytical approach to solving challenges

+ Ability to work in a dynamic environment and resolve ambiguity

+ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

+ Ability to work effectively in a matrix management and cross-functional environment

+ Ability to work with remote teams and geographically distributed stakeholders

+ Confidence to speak up and take action and ownership when required

**Travel requirements:**

Maximum 10% Travel – typically up to three US travel activities per quarter (2-3 days each) for customer engagement, industry events and team activities.
