Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Tavern Cashier to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Tavern Cashier, you will accurately ring up merchandise and products in an efficient manner.

**Responsibilities**

+ Greet guests and provide details on menu items using suggestive selling techniques.

+ Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions, following proper sanitation guidelines.

+ Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request ID and adhere to all alcohol policies and procedures.

+ Participate in set-up, opening & closing and cleaning procedures, arrange inventory, report shortages to supervisor.

+ Properly collect money, process credit cards, record all transactions, complete paperwork and maintain bank.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Prior food service experience preferred.

+ Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.

+ Effective communication skills; ability provide excellent guest service, receive orders and operate POS system.

+ Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment.

**Physical Requirements**

+ Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds.

+ Ability to stand for the entire length of shift with frequent bending, stooping, walking, and reaching.

+ Exposure to chemicals used to clean and sanitize surfaces and equipment.
