ABOUT THE ROLE

Be part of a team that manufactures engineering parts, tooling, and test equipment for the Honeywell Glendale facility. You will work in a small prototype machine shop manufacturing parts from drawings and models prepared by engineering. Grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Support the development of new engineering parts using both state of the art software/machines along with conventional mills and lathes.

+ Drive improvements in a challenging environment.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

MUST HAVE:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Minimum 10 years of experience using mills and lathes.

+ Ability to read mechanical drawings and understand tolerances.

+ Ability to layout the required steps to manufacture parts that require multiple machining setups.

+ Experience using tight tolerance measurement equipment.

+ Experience using CAM/CAD software.
