We are a part of Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I), the group responsible for one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures, powering all Microsoft online products and services, and supporting Microsoft's "Cloud First" strategy. CO+I is committed to growth, efficiency, and providing reliable experiences to customers and partners globally.

We are looking for a highly motivated Principal Technical Program Manager to lead infrastructure integration and optimization initiatives that will enable the next generation of Artificial Intelligence supercomputing.

**Responsibilities**

Identify complex opportunities and gaps in the implementation of multiple AI infrastructure technologies, including detailed data analysis to optimize predictability, velocity, and quality metrics.

Define integrated success criteria and performance metrics for multiple technologies and processes, including partnering with Software and Hardware Engineering to ensure needed telemetry is developed.

Collaborate and coordinate across organizations to ensure alignment on product management and release, including tradeoffs, adjustments, and improvements.

Lead direct customer (internal and/or external) engagements to solicit feedback and understand their experiences with infrastructure capabilities.

Regularly communicate with senior leaders and executives on priorities, roadmaps, engineering initiatives, and program status.

**Qualifications**

**Required/Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering or product/technical program management in datacenter infrastructure.

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

**Other Requirements:**

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering or product/technical program management in datacenter infrastructure environment

+ OR equivalent experience.

+ 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

+ 4+ years experiencemanaging large-scale global programs in either infrastructure technology deployments or capacity planning for cloud services.

+ 1+ year(s) SQL & PowerBI experience or related technologies

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
