**Job Description**

Performance Contracting is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing employee-owned organization as an **Associate Project Engineer** for its Phoenix based in Tempe, AZ.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

+ Conduct safety meetings

+ Create and manage punch lists

+ Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in the QA/QC program

+ Prepare RFI’s and submittals

+ Do labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance

+ Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering

+ Support the implementation of the job schedule

+ Coordinate warranties and O&M’s

+ Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

**Requirements**

**Basic Requirements:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or Construction Science, or comparable work experience

**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

+ A clear understanding of how to read and understand specifications and drawings

+ Strong oral and written communication skills

+ Ability to work in a team environment

+ Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught

+ Customer service skills, such as able to work with customers and build strong relationships

+ Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to multitask

+ Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and a willingness to take initiative

+ Works well under pressure and deadline

**Preferred Requirements:**

+ OSHA Certification

+ Experience with commercial construction
