Visit Phoenix is seeking a Destination Services Manager to provide support for meetings and events taking place in resorts around Greater Phoenix. The Destination Services Manager should be a strong communicator who is self-motivated, task-oriented, and results-driven. This position supports Visit Phoenix's strategic mission, vision, and core values through building positive relationships amongst our member community, stakeholder groups, and organizations within the destination.
Who is Visit Phoenix? We are a non-profit organization that promotes the Greater Phoenix community to a global audience of travelers. We book conventions at the Phoenix Convention Center, area resorts & hotels and provide research for the benefit of our members.
Skills & Education Requirements:
Two years of hospitality or events experience with an Associate’s degree preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams).
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and solution-minded.
Well-organized with problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, clients, and business partners.
Able to work with tight timelines and manage competing priorities.
Strong writing, editing, and business letter format skills are needed.
Occasional evenings and weekends needed.
Simpleview CRM experience is a plus.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive and respond to incoming emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
Data entry: enter retrieved information from lead sources into Simpleview CRM.
Update contracts and inquiry status in Simpleview CRM.
Create itineraries for client visits.
Assist with sales RFPs, presentations, and reporting as needed.
Communicate with the marketing team on requests by the sales/services teams for convention attendees or groups.
Other duties as assigned.
