Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a **Security Coordinator 3** to join our team of talented and diverse individuals at our **McLean, VA** location.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

+ Supporting a fast-paced high-profile environment.

+ Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.

+ Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.

+ Security representative for new hire, contractors, transfers, and consultants’ orientation.

+ Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.

+ Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.

+ Performs clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities, and must be willing and able to work variable shifts if necessary (afternoons, evenings, and possibly weekends).

+ Knowledge with the DoD DISS Website to include the SIMS database.

+ McLean Local/Remote LRA High Assurance Admin-Standard OneBadge Issuance

+ OneBadge Issuance and maintenance to include PIN Resets, remote pin resets, Assisted Activation, Monthly Accountability & Orders

+ McLean Local/Remote LRA High Assurance Admin-Standard Onebadge Issuance (Main POC)

+ Work with Intercede and Lenel software

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ Candidate must be a US citizen, have and be able to maintain an active U.S. Government security clearance at the **Secret** level with a background investigation date within 5 years and approval for program access

+ High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of additional education and/or related administrative, clerical or security experience

+ Candidate must be organized and efficient at time management

+ Candidate must have experience with computer and desktop Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ A two-year degree or higher

+ Top Secret Clearance with SAP/SCI access

+ Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule and DoDM 5205.07 V1-4

+ Self-starter with minimal supervision.

+ Ability to display tact, discretion and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.

+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.

+ Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communications.

**Salary Range:** $48,600 - $81,000

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
