Description

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a team based in Phoenix, Arizona. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your primary function will be to manage and maintain our accounts payable data, including processing payments, managing invoices, and ensuring financial records are accurate and up-to-date. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity and will be fully based onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the process of 3-way matching to ensure that invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports are consistent.

• Regularly utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software systems for various accounting functions.

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain up-to-date customer credit records.

• Carry out account coding as part of the accounts payable processes.

• Oversee the Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions for the company.

• Participate in auditing tasks as required, ensuring compliance with accrual accounting principles.

• Monitor and manage payroll activities when necessary.

• Regularly review and update accounts payable records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements

• Must be skilled in using Accounting Software Systems.

• Familiarity with general Accounting Functions is required.

• Should possess comprehensive knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP).

• Experience in Accrual Accounting is crucial.

• Should be well-versed with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks.

• Payroll management skills are desired but not required.

• Should be adept at 3 Way Matching in accounts payable.
