As a Material Handler - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate movement of materials within the warehouse. You will report directly to our Warehouse Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location.

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and supporting the overall supply chain process. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy of shipments

• Store materials in designated locations within the warehouse

• Pick and pack materials for outbound shipments

• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records

• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and WAV.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work will be completed in office and /or shipping and receiving production areas. There will be potential exposure to seasonal temperatures. Sitting, standing, and lifting packages.

Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00pm Monday Through Friday.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Detail-Oriented, keeps accurate inventory and documentation.

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks

• Basic computer skills

• Display good teamwork, flexibility, and initiative.

• Interface with different departments, vendors, and customers in a professional manner.

• Time management skills.

• Ability to analyze and review shipping/receiving documents.

• Able to work long hours and/or weekends sometimes based on operational needs.
