As a Sr Fire Alarm Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide integrated fire detection and response solutions. With your expertise in fire alarm systems and your NICET certification, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems in buildings of all sizes and complexities. Your technical skills and attention to detail will ensure that our customers receive the highest level of fire protection and safety.

You will report directly to our Fire Alarm Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Wichita, KS location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the safety and security of buildings and the people within them. Your work will contribute to the early detection of fires and the prompt response to emergencies, ultimately saving lives and protecting valuable assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, program, and test fire alarm systems according to specifications and codes.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of fire alarm systems to ensure proper functioning.

• Troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with customers and other team members to address their fire protection needs and provide technical support.

• Keep accurate records of work performed, including documentation of system installations, inspections, and repairs.

YOU MUST HAVE

• NICET certification or Higher in Fire Alarm Systems or willing to test within 90 days.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm systems.

• Strong technical skills and knowledge of fire alarm codes and regulations.

WE VALUE

• Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Experience working with Honeywell fire alarm systems.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
